Stackin ¥en

Privacy Policy

Last updated · July 7, 2026

Stackin ¥en (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a personal finance app that lets you log income and expenses to keep track of your money. We built it to respect your privacy: we collect only what the App needs to work, and we never sell your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

1

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the Stackin ¥en mobile app and anyone who uses it. It does not cover any third-party services or websites that the App may link to, which have their own privacy practices.

2

Information we collect

Information you give us.

  • Your email address — used to create and secure your account, and to send you a one-time login code. You can start using the App anonymously and add an email later.
  • The financial entries you log — the amounts, whether each is income or an expense, the category, any note you add, and the date. This is your data; you decide what to enter.

Purchase information. When you subscribe, your payment is handled by Apple, and your subscription status is managed through our subscriptions provider (RevenueCat). We receive information about whether your subscription is active — we do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Technical information. Like most apps, we may collect limited technical and diagnostic information (such as app version, device type, and crash reports) to keep the App running and fix problems. This is used to maintain the service, not to identify you personally.

3

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide the App and save your entries so they’re there when you return;
  • Sign you in securely and keep your account safe;
  • Manage your subscription and free trial;
  • Respond to your support requests;
  • Diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the App;
  • Comply with legal obligations where required.
4

How your information is stored and shared

Storage. Your account and entries are stored using our backend provider (Supabase) on secure servers located in the United States. Access to your data is restricted so that you can only see your own entries.

Service providers. We share limited information with trusted providers only so the App can function:

  • Supabase — hosts our database and handles account sign-in;
  • RevenueCat — manages subscription status;
  • Apple — processes payments and distributes the App through the App Store.

We do not sell your personal information, use it for advertising, or track you across other apps and websites. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the App.

5

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your entries and associated personal information, except where we are required to keep certain records to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

6

Your rights and choices

You can:

  • Access and review your entries at any time in the App;
  • Correct or delete individual entries yourself;
  • Delete your account and all associated data directly in the App, under Settings. Deletion is permanent and removes your entries from our records, except anything we’re legally required to keep. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it in your App Store settings as well — subscriptions are billed by Apple and are not canceled automatically when you delete your account.

You can also reach us at the email below for help with any of these requests. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data (such as the right to access, correct, delete, or export it, or to withdraw consent) under laws like the GDPR or CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we’ll respond as required by applicable law.

7

Security

We protect your information using industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls that keep your entries private to your account. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your data, we can’t guarantee absolute security.

8

Children’s privacy

Stackin ¥en is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9

International users

The App is operated from the United States, and your information is stored and processed there. If you use the App from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and handled in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

10

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top. If we make significant changes, we’ll take reasonable steps to let you know.
